Why do I love working at The Data Institute?

I love giving structure and support to the team and our customers. At the same time, I can combine this formal work of working with people and understand and define the challenges and goals of stakeholders.

My magical abilities:

I always keep an overview and support the team in the background so that planning and implementation work smoothly and therefore customer satisfaction is as high as possible.

I also like:

Take spontaneous trips with the family and the VW bus.

I really want to go on this trip:

Cycle to Portugal with my road bike.

Why do I love working at The Data Institute?

I find it fulfilling when I can alleviate people's fear of business intelligence projects. In my role, I can also combine advising companies with the strategic development of the consulting business.

My magical abilities:

I always have a vision — of the future of customers, but also of partners and collaborations.

I also like:

Wine, ground hopping and traveling with my wife and dog.

I really want to go on this trip:

After Japan, Vietnam is now on the bucket list.

Why do I love working at The Data Institute?

Because we advise medium-sized companies in particular, which often do not yet use the full potential of dealing with data and therefore the impact of our work is particularly great. I'm happy to see how customers can use our ideas to make more targeted decisions with data.

My magical abilities:

To also question established methods in the company and to approach customer challenges calmly with my calm manner.

I also like:

Travel a lot, play squash, run (with the goal of a half marathon) and relax with a glass of wine.

I really want to go on this trip:

I have decided to visit all the capitals of Europe - 13 of them have already been completed. I would also like to travel to Japan and go on a round trip through South America.

My job includes the right balance of pragmatism and foresight. As a result, I can both create prototypes and express myself, but also always get involved with new questions and technologies so that it never gets boring.

My magical abilities:

My prudent and concentrated manner ensures razor-sharp analysis.

I also like:

Read, eat, play Dungeons & Dragons with the Nerds and travel in the van.

I really want to go on this trip:

Ethiopia for its landscapes, food, and interesting culture — and both of America!

Abstrakter Pfad des Data Institutes

This is how we  started

The story of The Data Institute starts with FUNKE, one of the largest media companies in Europe. There, three data-loving experts recognized the potential of data-driven business and founded their own company as part of a spinoff.

Organizational development, data stack and customer focus — these are the passions of the three founders of The Data Institute. At a time when data is the key to success, they've come together to help companies harness the power of their data.

The Data Institute is no ordinary consultancy. There are no long PowerPoint presentations and complicated theories here. Instead, the experts focus on practical tips and recommendations for action that are individually tailored to the needs of each company.

Our goal: Enable customers and employees to use the data themselves and thus improve customer orientation and efficiency.

The world is changing — and so must companies. The business models of yesterday are no longer sufficient to survive in the competition of the future. Data is the key to new opportunities and innovative business models.

Personalization, automation, and new revenue streams.

Data enables companies to tailor their products and services individually to the needs of customers. This allows them to increase customer satisfaction and set themselves apart from the competition.

Automating processes through data analyses saves time and money. New sources of income are created by using data for marketing and advertising or by developing new data-based products and services.

As The Data Institute, we are happy to help you individually evaluate these business models, set up the necessary data strategy and pave the way for the future.
